One good thing came out of the "spying" being done on us! I am talking about what we look at online, every time we shop and use a credit or debit card, etc. the stores are recording what we look at or buy. So, Walmart wants us to buy and they will bag it up now. They sent me a huge gluten free list and I was amazed at what they now carry. Such as: larger sized breads, frozen larger sized pastas, etc. I haven't seen these larger items in our stores here. Let us know if you have found some.

We are starting CEOs (celiacs eating out) again in 2019. If there is dangerous weather we will cancel. Usually the weather people will say "stay home". As always, friends and family are welcome, including those that eat gluten. We need to have a phone call/ email 3 days before the date so we can tell the restaurant how many will be coming. Refer to the phone numbers and email addresses on the side of this page. We encourage new people to come and ask questions since we no longer hold meetings.

I tried the Home Grown Restaurant on the west side and it is delicious! It is kind of gourmet and healthy. The east side will be getting one somewhere in the next year.
Eating out has improved so much over 18 yrs.! I really don't ever get "gluttoned" anymore. It's been over a year. Have you gotten exposed to gluten from a restaurant? Send us a message and we will print it. There are so many gluten free menus now. You still need to have knowledge and ask questions to keep safe. Such as: asking about if the soy sauce is GF, asking about cross contamination as in fried foods, any thickening in sauces, etc.
